"I would have said it was a great deal for the money except for the lack of sleep suffered during our stay. I realise we stayed over New Year and maybe one night's loss of sleep was bearable for this reason, but when they all stayed over the next night and our last call for silence was 5.00am it was too much. Similarly the following Friday night we were disturbed all night again just before we began a 15 hour journey back to England. My suggestion would be to ask guests whether they are night or day birds and whether they are likely to party into the small hours and put us in different parts of the hotel, rather than next door to each other. I do appreciate their needs and would have done the same when I was 20 or so, but we were visiting family with young children and needed to be up and alert fairly early.
The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service in there - well done.
I couldn't recommend you because of lack of sleep and I hope you will write and tell me that you will act on my suggestion of putting people in quieter areas, as they do in other places in Europe. We will probably need a place to stay near our family again."
